Westcombe will be a luxury 5 bedroom property, with elegance and opulence throughout, featuring the highest levels of craftsmanship and finished to an exceptionally high standard with bespoke fixtures and fittings within a cool, contemporary interior design scheme.
With a large open plan kitchen, two lounges including a cinema room, and the iconic Boathouse, Westcombe will provide unrivalled luxury entertaining spaces for guests to enjoy all year round.
Our designers Devon interiors have produced the below visuals to demonstrate how the house will look once completed.
These are the proposed designs for the swimming pool!
The pool will be 15m by 5m and heated all year round via air source heat pumps. It will feature a jacuzzi spa, a shallow paddling area and swimming area with an automatic safety cover.
The rear wall will be made of the same stone as the house with a large waterfall feature.
In addition, there will be a new summer house and outside dining area for guests to relax and enjoy.
A big thank you to @devoninteriors for the stunning visuals and the rest of our team for helping us get to this point!
This is the proposed design for the Lounge.
We have kept the colours light and neutral in this room to keep it feeling spacious and make the most of the natural light.
We have opted for a large corner sofa and separate 3 seater sofa to allow easy movement around the room whilst ensuring there is plenty of seating for everybody.
Given its elevated position on the main floor there will be estuary views through the picture window and bi fold doors that lead out to the east terrace.
This is the proposed design for the kitchen.
We have opted for a large waterfall island and a straight run of units, with the feature piece being a 4m wide bookmatched marble splashback.
There is a dining table seating 10 people and an additional lounge area leading out onto the south terrace.
This is the proposed design for the Cinema room.
We have opted for a cosy theme with a deep comfortable chaise sofa and footrest.
To achieve the cinema room feel there will be an 85 inch tv with in wall and ceiling surround sound and a starlight ceiling.
This is the proposed design for the master bedroom.
We have opted for a neutral colour scheme to keep the room feeling light and spacious, which is supported by 5 metres of floor to ceiling windows.
We have opted for a superking size bed with a feature headboard and built in wardrobes with a dressing table between.
This is the proposed design for the master bathroom.
The feature piece of the bathroom will be the large freestanding bath with a book-matched marble wall behind, framed either side by the floor to ceiling windows.
We have opted for a large walk-in rainfall shower which also has a book-matched marble wall.
To complete the bathroom, there will be double vanity units which will be finished off in marble to match the shower and bath areas. This will tie in with the marble finishes in the master bedroom.
This is the proposed design for the Boathouse.
In contrast to the main house, we have opted for a more traditional theme with the Boathouse.
There will be a stone bar at one end of the Boathouse and at the other, a lounge area with Chesterfield sofas to add a sophisticated touch.
To recognise the Boathouse’s history, we will be repurposing our ancestor’s workbench as a coffee table and their trunk as a side table.
On the terrace, there will be a dining and BBQ area to relax whilst enjoying the views up Batson Creek towards Salcombe harbour!
This is the proposed design for the guest bedrooms!
Similarly to the master bedroom, we have opted for a neutral theme but have added some additional colour to the room through the throws and cushions.
All guest bedrooms will feature a king-size bed with built-in wardrobes and dressing tables as well as smart TV’s.
